Media image of child sexual abuse in Czech TV news

The bachelor's thesis is focused on media image of child sexual abuse in Czech TV news. The thesis introduces the issues of this serious social problem, presents context of social sciences, rapist, victims and consequences of sexual abuse. The media chapter introduces possible influences of news about child sexual abuse on society. Quantitative content analysis was used for the research. Three of the most popular TV stations - ČT1, Nova, Prima − were included in the research. News transcription related to child sexual abuse was monitored from the beginning of 2010 until the end of 2015 with the aid of the Newton Media SEARCH database. The time period was chosen because of actuality and sufficient sample of news. Three large cases were chosen. Cases were connected with organizations (the Scout group, the BBC television, the Catholic church). These organizations should help and protect children. The affairs were presented, in detail, the data from the news were analyzed, then interpreted and compared. The aim of the analysis was to find if society is sufficiently informed about this problem, if news about child sexual abuse can transform the society's view and if the news had some taboo or stereotypes about this problem.

Diploma thesis "Child sexual abuse in Czech republic" deals with the development and especially with the stage in our republic about this issue. The thesis in the first two parts examine the issue of child sexual abuse from number of points of view, which are the actors how enter to the issue, what does the child sexual abuse mean and which are its forms, analyse the problems during the solution of this issue in Czech republic. In the second part the diploma thesis goes in for the possibilities of solution of the issue in Czech republic. With the help of the evaluation of some options, where as examples are some foreign models, in this thesis there are proposed some proceedings which would be advisable to introduce in Czech republic for the effective solution of the issue.
The crimes against human dignity in sexual area - criminal and criminological aspects

The crimes against human dignity in sexual area - criminal and criminological aspects Abstract: The thesis deals with those crimes that affect the most intimate area of human life, the sexual area. It analyzes those crimes from a criminal point of view and compares the current Czech legislation with the legislation in Spain. Based on this comparison, the thesis contains several considerations de lege ferenda, which could improve the current Czech legislation. As the chosen topic is strongly affected by forensic science and criminology, the thesis also deals with sexual crimes from the point of view of these scientific disciplines. From a criminological point of view, the thesis examines the personality of the perpetrator and the victim. With regard to perpetrators, it deals primarily with the motives, motivations and typology of perpetrators in general. In relation to victims the thesis finds out, in particular, how committing these crimes affects their lives (including secondary victimization) and deals with their position from a procedural point of view. In the part dealing with forensic science this thesis describes the specifics associated with the investigation of this type of crimes.
